WELCA Meeting May 20th

WELCA will meet on Thursday, May 20th at 9:30 am for our Breakfast Meeting. Karen Broadhead will present the program. She will talk about her trip to Nicaragua.

Spring Rummage Sale is April 15th and 16th

The Spring Rummage Sale is coming up! Setup days are Monday, April 12th through Wednesday, April 14th. The sale is on Thursday, April 15th (8 am to 6 pm) and Friday, April 16th (8 am to 1 pm). Gather your items and bring them in any time after Easter – items to donate can be left on the stage. We will also need volunteers and trucks on Friday after the sale to help haul unsold items.

WELCA Meeting March 18th

WELCA will meet on Thursday, March 18th at 1:30 p.m. Nick Grunseth, meteorologist from WXOW Channel 19, will be presenting our program.

Our servers will be Jean Swartz, Delores Mickelson, Dorothy Pierce, Connie Garson, Margaret Turner & Edna Larson. Contributing Members are Ella Duellman & Jeanette Neidercorn. All are welcome!

Tired and Retired Potluck on February 18th

WELCA’s Tired and Retired Potluck will be Thursday, February 18th at noon. Please bring a dish to pass. Utensils and beverage will be furnished.

Our entertainment will be Janice Fortney from Viroqua. Hope to see you all there!

WELCA Christmas Luncheon Thursday, December 3rd

Seating starts at 11:30 am, with lunch at 12 Noon.

Our menu:

roast beef
mashed potatoes & gravy
buttered carrots
lettuce & dressing
dinner rolls
veggies & dip
cookies for dessert

Tickets are $8. Dixie Forsberg will be our entertainment. We hope to see you all there. Merry Christmas!

WELCA will meet Thursday, November 19th at 1:30 pm. It is ThankOffering month and Pastor Mark will do our program. Please remember to bring your ThankOffering boxes.

Fall Rummage Sale is October 15th and 16th

Items can be brought to the church starting October 10th. Set up days are October 12-14th. Sale times are 8 am – 1 pm Thursday and Friday and 4-7 pm on Thursday.

We need help on Sunday, October 11th to clear the Fellowship Hall and again on Friday to haul unsold items to Goodwill.

WELCA will meet on Thursday, September 17th at 1:30 p.m. Our program will be by Pastor Mark on Norwegian Reflections.

Servers are Sonja Schragg, Pearl Campbell, Bonnie Powell, Ervina Spika, Donna Engelson, Anna Duresky, Elverda Guberud. Contributing Members are Martha Stuckey, Judy Sasse, and June Peterson.

WELCA Meeting on August 20th

The next WELCA meeting will be August 20th at 1:30 p.m. We will be showing the video, Women of the E.L.C.A. Servers are Doris Modahl, Ardis Bolstad, Janice Beeler, Marie Beissel, Ruth West, and Ruth Peshak. Contributing members are Delilah Wehrs and Lois Nelson.
