Sunday School Teachers Needed

Our Savior’s Sunday School is looking For Sunday School Workshop Leaders, Music Leaders, Drama Directors and Shepherds! Do you desire to learn more about the Bible? To help children see the Bible in a new light? To see children learn the context & application of Biblical text and then apply it to their everyday lives? Do you want to make a difference in a child’s faith life? If so, Discovery Kingdom Sunday School is for you!

NEEDS: Be creative/imaginative and flexible; Have a sense of humor, patience and a friendly attitude; Possess some skill, not expertise in a workshop medium.

TIME REQUIREMENT: A short commitment of 4 weeks; Teach 1 workshop during a 4-6 week rotation; Personal reading of the Biblical text for the lesson; Be in your workshop ready to teach after church until 11:15 a.m. Give feedback on the teaching experience.

You need not be a Biblical expert to apply! The Sparks curriculum makes teaching easy and fun. Bible background sessions are given to provide support and a workshop coordinator is available to meet if you have any questions about the curriculum. Lessons can be easily downloaded any time from the Sparks website (view a sample). You need not have a Sunday Schooler to apply … confirmed youth can teach and shepherd, too!
